Statement Of Faith
Doctrine of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as One essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God and yet God is One. This is a profound mystery.
Doctrine of Humanity
We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God. Human dignity and worth are grounded in this fact.
Doctrine of Sin
We believe that sin has fractured mankind’s relationship with God leaving all people in desperate need of reconciliation.
Doctrine of Salvation/Reconciliation
We believe salvation/reconciliation is received by God’s grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Those whom Christ saves, He keeps eternally.
Doctrine of the Holy Spirit
The Spirit of God is life itself. The Holy Spirit is given to all believers in full measure, upon conversion. God’s Spirit communes with our spirits in manifold ways. We hear and respond, not from a sense of obligation, but because the grace of God has set us free to respond in love toward Him.
Doctrine of the Church
We believe the Church is God’s chosen vehicle to bring hope and the message of reconciliation to the world. We believe in the unity of the universal Body of Christ and do not lean toward denominational language.
Our Mission
The intention and focus of House of Grace is to help people become life long disciples of Jesus. A disciple follows his master and seeks to lead others to do the same. All activity that does not lead to discipleship is counterproductive.
